A Season Of Reckoning For Young Chelsea Striker

|

Next season will be a hugely important one in the career of the young Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.

The striker, who spent last season at Premier League Swansea City, didn’t find the goals as easy to come by compared to the previous season when he was so prolific, in the Championship, with Bristol City.

This summer a decision will have to be made regarding where Abraham, who made his international debut for England last season, will play his football.

Already, speculation is emerging, courtesy of the Guardian, that Crystal Palace would like to take the striker on a season-long loan.

Palace, as you may recall, was where Ruben Loftus-Cheek spent last season, not only showcasing his skills but also earning a place in Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad.

However, our referenced source is carrying the insinuation that Abraham might not be willing to go off on loan for a third season on the trot.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we’d like to see Tammy given a chance in the first team squad, at least until January, you never know, given the service, he may prove to be a huge success.

We’ll never know until we try!
