Recently, and we make no apology for doing so, we’ve run a series of articles related to the future of our Captain, Leader and Legend, John Terry.

Our articles, in chronological order:

Terry considering his next move

Moscow got to dash

and

Russia might not be the next move for Chelsea legend

have commented on the on-going drama relating to where JT might be playing in the coming months.

It had seemed that JT was set for a career swansong in Russia, with Spartak Moscow.

However, it would appear that such a move might be faltering, despite terms being agreed, with JT’s family not being overly keen on the transfer.

On the back of the indecision, the news source, the Express, is running with the suggestion that Aston Villa, the club where he played his football last season, are set to renew their attempts to sign the veteran defender.

To us, here at Vital Chelsea, it looks to be a far more viable option, a case of better the devil you know for both parties.

We’ll endeavour to keep an eye out for any further developments.
