A Mourinho Return To Real Madrid Could Benefit Chelsea

|

After suffering an embarrassing exit, in the Champions League, to Ajax, the managerial position at Real Madrid is under review.

In the space of a few games, the Spanish giants have seen their season fall apart and there will be no silverware to add to the Bernabeu trophy cabinet.

As a result, it seems almost certain that there will be a change in the managerial hot-seat with it being inferred the change will not come immediately simply because there are no suitable candidates currently available.

However, the media source, the Telegraph, is championing the suggestion that somebody we know well, Jose Mourinho, is set to make what they hope will be a triumphant return to the club.

Mourinho, axed by Manchester United recently, left Real Madrid to join Chelsea back in 2013.

However, any return to the Spanish giants could be good news for Chelsea.

Although Eden Hazard has harboured ambitions of playing for Real Madrid with it being the likeliest destination if he does choose to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, here at Vital Chelsea, we’re of the opinion the Belgian international might not relish such a move with Mourinho in charge, memories of the manner in which Mourinho wanted him to spend a significant part of his game offering defensive cover may be very prevalent in his mind.
