Now back in full flow after recovering from an injury that saw him side-lined, Tammy Abraham has returned to scoring form.

The 19-year-old, now on a season long loan with Bristol City, scored a brace yesterday for his club meaning that he has now scored 24 goals for the Championship side.

However, despite being a prolific scorer for the Championship side, there is no guarantee that Tammy will make that progression from being a hugely promising young player to a regular first team player at Stamford Bridge.

To that effect there is every possibility that, like so many others, Tammy could be sold on.

This morning a popular Sunday tabloid, The Sun, is running with the suggestion that another Premier League side are preparing to swoop for the striker.

The club in question being the current Premier League champions, Leicester City.

Could we see, this summer, Abraham make that move or is he truly destined to become a regular first-team player at Chelsea?

  • We cannot sell a player of Tammy’s potential, under any circumstances. He’s big, strong, fast and knows where the goal is. Eventually a young player has to come through and it could be Tammy. It’s a no brainier really to hold on to him.

  • Can’t see it more media rubbish, give the man a chance I say he could easily be our rashford

  • After all it was the Sun reporting, so as usual no Iota of truth there. How can we sanction a deal for Tammy when nobody knew what Conte has in store for him? Players like him, Lewis Baker & RLC have their futures here as they are Chelsea through & through. KTBFFH!!!

  • media garbage… Another loan to same Bristol since he already has a starting spot will work wonders… Except they’re relegated…
