It may not be the largest of sums but it`s certainly most welcome!

With the transfer merry-go-round in full flow, it seems to be only a matter of time before our Premier League rivals break their club transfer record to sign Mohamed Salah.

Salah, who was excellent for Basle when he played against Chelsea in the Champions League, failed to live up to expectations when he joined Chelsea and fell into the category ‘major disappointment` before he was moved on.

But it seems the Egyptian has flourished whilst playing in Serie A, with Roma, with Liverpool set to splash a huge amount of cash to bring the winger back to the Premier League.

However, whilst we all ponder over whether Salah can or cannot cut the mustard in the Premier League, his move does give Chelsea something of a wind-fall.

Reports in the Evening Standard suggest that Chelsea had a sell-on clause inserted in the contract when he left Stamford Bridge and will receive a sum of £3 million, a nice little earner don`t you think.
