When we get the chance we promise we will sit down and calculate just how many Chelsea players have been sent out on loan spells ahead of the forthcoming 2018 / 2019 season.
However, with the deals being announced thick and fast, a more opportune moment to attempt that feat could be nearer to the closure of the transfer window.
The latest player to join the list though is Charlie Colkett.
Colkett, a 21-year-old midfielder, is a product of the Chelsea Academy but has yet to make his first-team debut for Chelsea.
Previously, in his career, Colkett has spent spells on loan at Bristol Rovers and Swindon Town whilst, last season, he was on the books of the Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem.
This coming season Colkett will be displaying his skills, on a season-long loan deal, with the League One side, Shrewsbury Town.
