And the Reward for Abject Surrender Is?

Last night, when our jewel-in-the-crown, Eden Hazard, equalised, for one brief moment I thought that Chelsea might be able to snatch what would have been a very unlikely victory.

How wrong I was!

Instead, the wheels well and truly came off the wagon with Watford, of all teams, scoring three goals in ten minutes making it, probably, the worst defeat of the season so far.

However, it seems that those three late goals have convinced Antonio Conte to revise his plans.

According to the The Evening Standard, Conte has planned to give his squad Tuesday off with them then reporting to Cobham, for training, on Wednesday.

However, after being humiliated 4-1, our referenced source is reporting that Conte has given his squad 3 days off, with them not reporting back now until Friday.

Now it could be that Conte wants his squad to rest ahead of what could be a challenging Premier League fixture against West Bromwich Albion, next Monday.

But, personally, I`d have dragged them all in and make them watch every second of the Bournemouth and Watford games to see just how much they let the club, the fans and themselves down with two awful performances.
