Bakayoko Heading Back To London But Not To Stamford Bridge

|

The career of our midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko was supposed to have taken an upturn when, back in the summer, it was decided to send the Frenchman out on a season-long loan spell with the Serie A side AC Milan.

However, that has proven to be far from the case with the 24-year-old struggling to make an impact in Milan.

At the time of writing, Bakayoko has made just two starts for AC Milan and there is the suggestion being bandied about, by the news source, the Sun, that the AC Milan boss, Gennaro Gattuso, is considering sending the loan spell prematurely.

However, if that is the case and although the player would be headed back to London, it might not be to Stamford Bridge.

Our aforementioned source is championing the inference that the player, who cost Chelsea £40 million, could be headed for our local neighbours, Fulham.

If that is the case, I’m guessing it’ll give the Chelsea coaching staff the perfect opportunity to make a decision over whether Bakayoko has a long-term future at Chelsea or not.

Does anyone care to predict which way this one will go?
