As the morning has been passing us by, we`ve been keeping an eye of the newsfeed supplied by the BBC.

One point of interest that came up upon our screens related to the future of our very own Patrick Bamford.

After a very successful spell at Middlesbrough, where 21-year-old Bamford was voted as the Championship Player of the Year, the general impression was that if Bamford wasn`t to be part of the Chelsea squad this coming season, then he would be loaned to a Premier League club, to see if he can maintain his record of scoring prolifically in both League One and the Championship.

Well it appears that, if the BBC text feed was correct, Bamford could be heading off to Carrow Road although when approached on the subject matter, by BBC Radio Norfolk, the Norwich City manager, Alex Neil, gave a very curt reply, remarking,

“There’s just names flung about everywhere, so no, you won’t hear anything come from us until it’s done.

But what`s your opinion?

Would Premier League Norwich City be the ideal next placement for our young striker, or should he be kept at Stamford Bridge?
