I’ve always had the feeling that N’Golo Kante, as far as his professional life is concerned, is more than happy with his lot.
The 28-year-old French midfielder just goes about his business in a thoroughly professional manner and is the unlikeliest of footballers to rock the proverbial boat.
But with the media looking to boost viewing figures and sales, there’s always a mischievous journalist, or two, that has no moral qualms about producing a piece of sensational but fictional journalism.
One such article that appeared recently implied that the Catalan giants of Barcelona were keen to add Kante to their squad.
Obviously, aware of such talk, Barcelona, according to the Spanish media source, mundodeportivo have stepped forward to declare they have no intention of signing N’Golo Kante, which, in my opinion, is great to hear.
Now if only all transfer speculation could be confirmed or quashed in such a manner wouldn’t the world be a better place!
