The outcome of the pending appeal, relating to the two-window transfer ban imposed by FIFA, will, undoubtedly, dictate Chelsea’s transfer policy this summer.
If the ban remains in force, transfer business, especially with regards to outbound players, might be severely restricted.
However, if the appeal is successful then Chelsea could well use this forthcoming transfer window to reshape the squad, which could see the departure of some regular members of the squad.
Today, one red-top tabloid publication, the Sun, is implying that somebody who has been mentioned in a piece of transfer tittle-tattle, Willian, could be on the move this summer.
Our referenced source is reporting that Barcelona are set to renew their interest in the Brazilian forward.
With regards to a price, our quoted source reckons that Barcelona are prepared to offer Chelsea £30 million for the player who is no 30-years-of-age.
Personally, I’d like to see Willian remain at the club, but what’s your view?
Is the time now ripe to sell Willian and, if so, is the quoted transfer fee a reasonable one?
