After Michy Batshuayi had scored the goal that won Chelsea the title, against West Bromwich Albion, it was hoped that the young Belgian would go on to make himself a regular at Chelsea.

Unfortunately, it hasn`t happened.

The 24-year-old has found first team opportunities rare this season and has only managed to score two goals.

In midweek, with the Chelsea U21 side in action in the Checkatrade Trophy, Batshuayi scored a brace as the youngsters confirmed their place in the next round.

But, with Batshuayi not being in Antonio Conte`s plans, it is being suggested by the red-top publication, The Sun the 24-year-old could be off on loan come the opening of the January transfer window.

It seems that Batshuayi is concerned about his spot in the Belgium World Cup squad being at risk if he doesn`t get regular first team football.

As for a possible destination, West Ham have shown interest in the player previously but if Chelsea do agree to a loan move the list of suitors would grow.

However, if that is the case then it would seem a certainty that Chelsea would be looking to bring in a replacement.
