Chelsea Boss Set To Leave Stamford Bridge And Be Named As The New Juventus Manager

|

That is the claim that is dominating the football headlines this morning.

The claim comes courtesy of the tabloid publication, the Mirror that has picked up on a story instigated by the Italian journalist, Tancredi Palmeri.

Apparently, our source is convinced that Maurizio Sarri isn’t debating as to whether to leave Stamford Bridge, either by his own accord or via the sack, he’s decided he’s going anyway.

Furthermore, following Juventus’ failed attempt to secure the services of the Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, Sarri has agreed to take over as the boss of the Serie A title-winning side.

Quite what Chelsea feel about the matter remains to be seen.

However, if our source has got its facts correct, I for one will be jumping for joy.

Whilst we might view this season as a relatively successful one with a top-three finish and appearances in two Cup Finals, the style of football Chelsea have played this season, under Sarri, has left a lot to be desired.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that our source is correct, how about you?
