As Gary Cahill looks at the possibility of a move to Fulham.

With a possible move to Arsenal having been eliminated, as reported by Vital Chelsea, Click Here, it is being suggested that Gary Cahill is close to heading out of the Stamford Bridge exit door, on a loan deal.

The news source, lovesportradio, is running with the inference that the 33-year-old is close to agreeing to a loan move with our friends up the road, Fulham.

Fulham’s defensive woes are no secret and their boss, the former Chelsea manager, Claudio Ranieri, is set to use this transfer window to try and stiffen up his leaky defence.

Our referenced source is also implying that to make space in the squad, Fulham have ended the loan spell of the Manchester United defender, Timothy Fosu-Mensah.

Cahill, since arriving at our club, has had a marvellous career, after winning every club honour the game has, in European and English football.

He’s created some wonderful memories and, in a way, it’ll be a shame to see him go, but, as they say, nothing lasts forever.
