Chelsea Confident Of Keeping Belgian Superstar

|

Every summer one piece of transfer speculation dominates our thoughts.

This summer it’s the possibility that the Chelsea career of Eden Hazard could be coming to an end.

After being one of the best performers at the recent World Cup, winning the silver ball, Eden Hazard has shown that he really is on the verge of becoming a superstar.

However, his flirtations with regards to joining Real Madrid, have left us all a more than a little uneasy.

Instead, we’re having to face up to the realisation that the Spanish giants could make a determined effort to land the Belgian international.

However, knowing they have a jewel in their midst, it seems, according to the new source, the Mirror, that Chelsea, are perfectly aware of the fact Hazard has two years left on his contract and they can call the shots, even if Real are set to offer a reputed £170 million for the player.

Continuing, our quoted source points out that the club remain quietly confident that Hazard will put pen-to-paper on a new deal that will see him earn £300,000 a week.

But, if Hazard does sign the new deal, he could have to come to terms with the fact that any dreams of playing for Real Madrid could be well and truly over and such opportunities rarely present themselves more than once.

So, to put it bluntly, do you believe Eden Hazard will be at Chelsea next season or is the opportunity to join Real Madrid just too good to refuse?
