The draw has taken place for the semi-final draw of this season`s FA Cup competition. Chelsea made it through to the draw courtesy of 2-1 victory over Leicester City. It was a Pedro header that sealed Leicester`s fate.
Also in the draw were Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton. No disrespect to the south coast side, but they would be the favoured opponents, of any of the others.
Petr Cech and Gianfranco Zola were pulling the balls out of the goldfish bowl. Conspiracy theorists will be all over the result. Manchester United will face Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea will have the hole dressing room at Wembley when they take on Southampton. The ties will take place during the weekend of 21st/22nd April.
