Chelsea Faced With A Difficult Decision Over Wingers Immediate Future

|

Last season, 2019 / 2020, was a difficult one for Callum Hudson-Odoi.

After the interest from Bayern Munich, in our teenage winger, was ended with Callum signing a new deal at Chelsea, it was hoped the player would go on to show just why he was so highly rated.

Sadly, an injury blighted his campaign and when he was given the chance to shine, his form was not as good as we had hoped, disappointing is the word that springs to mind.

Now, after a summer transfer window where Chelsea have excelled, bringing in the likes of Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech, three players who will dominate Frank Lampard’s attacking thoughts and also when you throw Christian Pulisic into the mix, chances for Hudson-Odoi to get the regular action he craves, are looking slim.

Therefore, it is no surprise that one media outlet, 90 mins, are speculating that Chelsea are considering loaning out Callum this season.

Now quite what the player thinks about that remains to be seen.

Of course, several players, in recent years, have gone out on loan and used the experience to further their careers, most notably Mason Mount, could this be the making of Callum, a player that has so much talent but is struggling to deliver?

Should Chelsea Send Callum Hudson-Odoi Out On Loan This Season?

Yes!

No!

I guess we can only but wait and see.
