Chelsea Favourites To Sign Argentine Striker

|

With Juventus swooping quickly to sign the Portuguese superstar, Ronaldo, it could open the door for Chelsea to bring a striker to the club who has previously been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

The striker in question being none other than Gonzalo Higuain.

According to the Italian news source, calciomercato, the Turin based club will be looking to balance both their squad and books by selling the 30-year-old Argentine striker.

Our referenced source suggests that the player could be available for €55 million, a reasonable price for a striker you might say.

However, here at Vital Chelsea, we’d question whether the price is too high for a striker of that age.

Our view is that the club would be better off adding a few million more to the pot and going after a younger striker.

But is that a view you concur with or would you be happy to see Chelsea spend that sort of money on Higuain?
