Chelsea Get Home Draw In FA Cup 4th Round Draw

|

The 2-0 win, against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, saw Chelsea cement their place in the 4th round of the FA Cup, eagerly waiting to see who they would draw.

Last night, with the draw taking place after Wolverhampton Wanderers had knocked Liverpool out of the competition, in a televised tie, (no laughing at the back), the draw finally took place for the 4th round.

Chelsea, defending the trophy they won back in May, against Manchester United, were given a home tie against lower league opposition.

However, we’ll not know our exact opponents until Luton Town and Sheffield Wednesday replay their tie, a game that ended 0-0 at Hillsborough, on Tuesday 15th January.

Personally, I’d prefer it to be Luton, the town I was born in and reside in, purely because I’d love to see the look on the faces of those in my office, when my beloved Chelsea knock them out of the competition.

The tie will be played during the period 25th – 28th January depending upon which games the television companies choose or the Police feel would be better suited to an alternative to the traditional Saturday 15:00 hours kick-off.
