Chelsea`s interest in the Atletico Madrid attacker, Antoine Griezmann, has been well documented.

It was thought, wrongly, Chelsea Football Club would splash the cash in the January transfer window to bring the player to Stamford Bridge.

But, unfortunately, the plethora of speculation linking the twenty-four year-old to a move to West London came to nothing.

Now whether Chelsea are looking to snare the player in a summer revamp, a revamp authorised and approved by whoever takes over the managerial hot-seat in the summer, we can only wait and see.

However, it appears that, according to an article appearing in The Sun yesterday, that another Premier League club harbours ambitions of luring the Atletico Madrid striker to the Premier League.

Our source is of the opinion that Manchester United are looking to orchestrate a deal whereby the former Chelsea ace, Juan Mata, will move to Atletico Madrid as part of a £60 million deal that will see Griezmann move to Old Trafford.

We suspect the foundations upon which this deal is being built involve a certain former Chelsea manager taking over at Old Trafford, a former Chelsea manager who doesn`t appear to approve of the little Spaniard`s attributes.

Nevertheless, if Chelsea were to lose out on the signature of Griezmann, what would your thoughts be?
