Chelsea Identify A Third Juventus Transfer Target

|

With Maurizio Sarri looking to revamp the Chelsea squad ahead of the closure of the summer transfer window, it seems that the Italian is fixated with raiding the Serie A title holders Juventus.

Already this month we’ve run articles covering Chelsea’s interest in Gonzalo Higuain, Click Here, and Daniele Rugani, Click Here.

Today, Chelsea are being linked with a possible third acquisition, that of the Bosnian international Miralem Pjanic.

According to the tabloid news source, the Sun, Maurizio Sarri is of the belief that, even though Chelsea have already secured the services of Jorginho, it is the midfield area of the side that causes the new Italian manager the most concern, with our referenced source producing the following quotes attributed to Sarri when the Italian was pushed on his transfer plans,

“I cannot name names, because I don’t know.

“I spoke with the club and ideally I think that a pinch of quality is lacking in our centre-midfield for a certain type of play.

“At the end of the transfers I will understand which type of game is the most suitable.

“I cannot change 20 players, I must adapt and then I will see if we change somethings in my game.”

Pjanic, 28-years-of-age, according to the media, seems to fit in with Sarri’s plans but is it a possible signing that gets a thumbs-up from you, or doesn’t it excite you that much?
