Chelsea Identify The Replacement For The Departing Eden Hazard

|

This summer should prove to be an interesting one for Chelsea Football Club.

Although the biggest question that remains to be answered surrounds whether Maurizio Sarri will be given the chance to lead the club next season, another huge question mark remains over whether Chelsea can overturn the two-window transfer window imposed upon the club by the authorities.

If they can, there’s no doubt that Chelsea need to address the problem of a squad being in decline.

Sat here in the editorial chair, I’m pretty certain that the jewel-in-our-crown, Eden Hazard will be on his bike, to Real Madrid.

If that is the case then the Chelsea hierarchy will need to move quickly to fill the void left by the 28-year-old Belgian international, to appease the support.

Today, the name of a familiar face continues to attract column inches as being the player Chelsea will reach out for.

The Spanish news source, elconfidencial, is adamant that Chelsea will do their utmost to lure Barcelona’s Philippe Coutinho to Stamford Bridge, from Barcelona.

The 26-year-old hasn’t been the success Barcelona would have liked since they signed him from Liverpool and a deal could be orchestrated, as long as that transfer embargo is lifted.

But, are you of the opinion that Coutinho could fill the void left by the departing Hazard?
