Only a matter of days after it was revealed that FIFA are investigating Chelsea with regards to the acquisition of young players from abroad, news has broken that Chelsea are keen on a teenage French midfielder.
According to the popular Sunday tabloid publication, The Sun, Chelsea are not only interested in this player but are leading the race when it comes to securing his services.
The player in question is Elye Wahi a 14-year-old on the books of Caen.
As for the other clubs involved, look no further than Liverpool, Southampton, Tottenham, Manchester United and Manchester City.
Wahi is a striker who is impressing enormously for Caen`s U17 side but, and here is a really interesting piece of information, Wahi comes from the same Paris suburb as N`Golo Kante, Courouronnes.
