Yesterday we reported on how it was being suggested that Roman Abramovich had guaranteed the new manager of Chelsea Football Club a transfer chest of circa £130 million.

We asked how, given the chance, you`d spend it, namely on what positions you wanted strengthening and who, ideally, you`d like to recruit.

The comments left in our comments facility, suggested that many of you were opposed to a move to resurrect the John Stones possible deal, possibly feeling that Everton will lead us up the garden path again, like they did last summer.

However, nestling amongst all the transfer gossip this morning, is the inference that Chelsea Football Club are very much interested in a centre-back, and it Is not John Stones.

According to the Italian news vehicle, CalcioMercato, Chelsea are set to make an offer to AC Milan for their centre-back Alessio Romagnoli

The source suggests that Chelsea are willing to pay a fee, said to be in the region of, £30 million for the twenty-one year-old centre back, with the suggestion that he could be the one to replace the, probably, departing legend that is John Terry.

What`s your view on the player in question?

Would you welcome the possible signing of Alessio Romagnoli?

We`d certainly be interested to hear your views.
