It appears we can add another name to the list of Chelsea players going out on loan.
The good folk of the BBC have confirmed that our goalkeeper, Jamal Blackman, will be returning to Yorkshire for a season-long loan spell.
However, whilst Blackman spent last season on loan at Sheffield United, where he made 33 appearances in all competitions, this time around he will be playing at Elland Road for Leeds United.
In joining Leeds, Blackman will link up with another Chelsea player who will be on a season-long loan spell with the Championship club with Lewis Baker having already signed on the dotted line.
But once again, with Blackman having turned 24-years-of-age you have to question whether he has a long-term future at Stamford Bridge or whether a decision should have been taken to sell him on a permanent basis.
However, it would be churlish to not wish Jamal all the best and we hope he has a good season with a side who will be looking to be involved in the Championship promotion race.
