Chelsea Legend Moves A Huge Step Closer To Taking On His First Managerial Role

|

Those who frequent this site on a regular basis will be well aware that we’ve been covering the on-going situation with regards to John Terry hanging up his boots and the possibility of what is next in store for our Captain, Leader and Legend.

Earlier this week, Click Here, we mentioned the possibility that JT could be set for a return to Aston Villa, possibly as the number two to Thierry Henry in a dream management duo.

However, since that article was published, things have moved on a bit.

It seems that Thierry Henry may not be taking the vacant position at Villa Park, with the news source, the Times inferring that Henry is being linked with the managerial hot-seat at Monaco.

Furthermore, it is being hinted that JT could step straight into the managerial hot-seat at the Championship.

Continuing on the same subject, it is also being reported, this time by the popular tabloid source, the Mirror that the players, at Villa Park, are backing 37-year-old JT to get the job, obviously impressed with what he brought to the club last season.

Whilst, in our article, earlier this week, we may have offered a little caution with regards to JT taking on such a high-profile role for his first stab at management, I guess you’ve got to start somewhere and, seeing as he played for Aston Villa last season, JT knows the quality of the playing staff he will inherit so is quite capable of making a judgement call on taking the role vacated by Steve Bruce.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we’ll endeavour to keep you informed of any developments in what is, clearly, an on-going situation.
