Chelsea Legend Not Ready To Hang His Boots Up Just Yet

|

The last time we saw John Terry playing was in the Championship Play-Off Final when his side, Aston Villa, lost to Fulham.

After that game, it appeared that with Aston Villa in financial mire and unable to offer JT a second season at Villa Park, it might be time for him to hang his boots up.

Since that day, at Wembley, the rumour-mill has suggested that JT might move into management, he might move intoTV pundit work, he might retire, or he might find another club.

But, today, according to the popular tabloid publication, the Sun, JT might be ready to make a dramatic return to Aston Villa.

With the club now financially stable under the ownership of Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens, our reference source is suggesting that Steve Bruce is looking towards recruiting the 37-year-old in order to salvage a season that, despite a good start, has seen Aston Villa plunge to 12th in the table already trailing the leaders, Leeds United, by five points.

Now whether JT is up for putting his body through another tough season remains to be seen, but it’d be great to see our Captain, Leader and Legend strutting his stuff again would it not?
