Chelsea Legend To Be Tempted By A Fresh Opportunity

|

It’s fair to say that we didn’t see the best of our inspirational midfielder, N’Golo Kante, this season.

But I’m of the opinion that wasn’t Kante’s fault.

Widely accepted as the best player in his position, by fellow professionals and writers alike, Maurizio Sarri decided that bringing in Jorginho and playing Kante out of position was the key to implementing Sarriball.

As a result, Kante was pushed into a more forward position, his abilities inhibited whilst Jorginho failed to totally win over the Stamford Bridge faithful, despite his large price-tag.

This morning, lurking in the pages of the tabloid presentation, the Mirror, is the inference that Kante could be set to leave the club.

Paris Saint-Germain, the La Ligue title holders, are already looking towards improving their squad to mount a fresh assault on the Champions League, a competition where success has eluded them so far.

Our source talks of a possible move to Paris being one last big career move perhaps a little harsh when you consider the midfielder is just 28-years-of-age.

Now normally, I’d suggest Kante wouldn’t be tempted by such a move, he’s never been a player that lives a lifestyle a slavish as his salary, but, if Sarri remains, could the chance to play in the position he loves so well, instead of an alien role, be sufficient reason to jump ship?

Your thoughts on the above subject matter would be most appreciated in our comment facility beneath this article.
