The prickly subject of whether Thibaut Courtois will remain at Stamford Bridge next season continues to grab our attention on a regular basis.
Whenever the subject pops up, I can`t help but be reminded of the familiar strains of a tune the Clash belted out, something about ‘should I stay, or should I go now`, being the precise lyrics.
Now, I`m not sure if Thibaut himself knows, with any certainty, where his immediate future lies, but it seems, according to one news source we stumbled upon, Talksport, Chelsea are taking no chances when it comes to being left in limbo.
According to our referenced source, Chelsea are keeping a close eye on Gianluigi Donnarumma, the teenage AC Milan goalkeeper.
Donnarumma, just 19-years-of-age is already the incumbent between the sticks for the Serie A side and is tipped to have a bright and prolonged future.
But, any move for the youngster, would depend on AC Milan being willing to sell, the player wanting to come to wonderful West London and the huge price he`d command on the transfer market.
One piece of speculation that, although it tickles my fancy, I can`t see happening.
