The big rumour on what looks to be, in this part of the world, another wet and windy day, links Chelsea Football Club with the acquisition of a midfielder.
Although Chelsea, when it comes to the midfield department, appear to be well served with the contingent of Jorginho, Kane, Kovacic, Barkley, Fabregas and Loftus-Cheek, it is being reported, by the news source, the Express, that Chelsea are amongst a trio of clubs interested in the Barcelona midfielder, Denis Suarez.
The 24-year-old, also being tracked by Arsenal and AC Milan, isn’t a regular starter at the No Camp and could be enticed away from Barcelona if the correct opportunity came along.
Now whether Chelsea are, behind the scenes, looking to off-load Cesc Fabregas whilst also contemplating loaning out Loftus-Cheek, we’re unable to confirm, but if that is the case then a swoop for Suarez could be on the cards with the midfielder becoming the latest addition to the quota of Spanish players we have at the club.
