Chelsea Linked with Paris Saint-Germain Defender

We’re hoping it is a case of the calm before the storm ahead of the impending climax to the season.

On this chilly Tuesday morning, news is a little scarce, something us amateur hacks do not like.

Ploughing through the various media sources, we have managed to uncover one piece of transfer speculation in which Chelsea gets a mention.

According to the red-top publication, the Mirror Chelsea are looking to make another addition to the group of wing-backs they currently have to the club, which include Marcos Alonso, Davide Zappacosta, Victor Moses and Emerson.

The player supposedly identified is Layvin Kurzawa, a 25-year-old left-sided player who is currently on the books of the French side, Paris Saint-Germain.

Kurzawa joined Paris Saint-Germain from another La Ligue side, Monaco, back in 2015. This season he has made 25 appearances and from his left-back position has scored 5 goals.

However, Chelsea are not, according to or source, the only Premier League club interested in the player with Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United also said to be monitoring the situation.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we’ll keep a watchful eye out for any further developments and report back as deemed necessary.
