Chelsea Linked With The Acquisition of Another Spanish International

|

In the past, there has been direct transfer activity between Chelsea Football Club and Barcelona.

Two recent examples that immediately spring to mind being Pedro and Eidur Gudjohnsen.

According to one news source, the two clubs could, in the near future, be doing business once again.

The tabloid publication, the Daily Star, has picked up on something currently doing the rounds on mainland Europe relating to the Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez.

Suarez, 24-years-of-age and a Spanish international, is becoming increasingly frustrated at a lack of regular first-team football at the Nou Camp and is looking at other options available to him.

Our referenced source is championing the inference that Suarez could be Chelsea bound as our manager, Maurizio Sarri, was keen to recruit the player when he was still in charge of the Serie A side, Napoli.

Now whether the piece of speculation has solid foundations or not remains to be seen.

But, if Chelsea are seriously looking to add to their midfield quota then, once again, you’d have to have concerns relating to the long-term futures of Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount at Chelsea Football Club.
