As the dawn breaks for another day, a fresh piece of transfer speculation has appeared.
It links Chelsea with the acquisition of a winger.
According to the Daily Express, which has picked up on something in the Spanish media vehicle Don Balon, Chelsea are interested in the Belgian winger Yannick Carrasco.
Our referenced source is indicating that Chelsea are so keen on the 23-year-old, who is currently on the books of the Spanish club Atletico Madrid, they`ve offered the player a five-year-contract, in a deal that will see the player double his wages.
Apparently, Carrasco is intrigued by the prospect of playing in the Premier League and linking up with his fellow Belgian internationals, Thibaut Courtois, Eden Hazard and Michy Batshuayi at Stamford Bridge.
Last season, from his wide position, Carrasco scored 14 times in all competitions, only being beaten in the Atletico Madrid scoring charts by Antoine Griezmann and Kevin Gameiro.
Whether the Atletico Madrid boss, Diego Siemone, will be willing to sell his asset remains the big question though.
