Chelsea Looking At Another Pair Of Top Strikers

|

These are certainly interesting times now that the FIFA imposed two-transfer window ban has been lifted.

Yesterday speculation inferred that chelsea-linked-with-move-for-one-of-two-stunning-names,
with the two big-name strikers being Neymar and Kylian Mbappe and certainly offered us some food for thought.

Today (Thursday), two more big-name strikers have, according to the media, been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Whilst Chelsea were easing into the knockout stages of the Champions League, Lyon drew with RB Leipzig, on the same night, ensuring the French side and the German side joined Chelsea in the last sixteen of the competition.

However, according to The Mail, Chelsea had more than a passing interest in the game with our quoted source informing us that Chelsea had sent scouts to the game to watch two more strikers.

Seemingly, with Frank Lampard looking to make Chelsea more clinical in front of goal lampards-surprise-when-it-comes-to-which-area-of-the-team-hed-like-to-strengthen-first, Chelsea were looking at the Lyon striker Moussa Dembele and the RB Leipzig striker Tino Werner.

Both are 23-years-of-age and both, as you’d suspect, are highly rated.

On the night, it was perhaps Werner who impressed the most, scoring from the spot and making it 20 goals in 22 games, for Leipzig, this season.

Dembele will be known to Chelsea fans after starting his career with our near-neighbours Fulham before scoring a plethora of goals for Celtic in the Scottish Premier League.

Now whether either will actually become a Chelsea player only time will tell but if the club could only sign one which would you prefer it to be?

Your Preference?

Moussa Dembele (Lyon)

Timo Werner (RB Leipzig)
