Chelsea Looking At Two Deals Relating To Defenders

|

Back in the summer, Maurizio Sarri raided his previous club, Napoli, to bring Jorginho to Stamford Bridge.

Naturally, Napoli were not keen to see their squad further pillaged by their former boss and refused to discuss any moves, to West London, for anyone else in their talented squad.

However, it appears that stance could be mellowing.

Lurking in the pages of the news vehicle, the Evening Standard, inference is given that Sarri is orchestrating a deal that would bring Napoli’s Elseid Hysaj to Chelsea.

Hysaj is a 24-year-old Albanian defender who Sarri, having managed him previously, knows well.

But, our referenced source is also reporting that Hysaj is being brought in to replace Davide Zappacosta who is, apparently, in talks regarding a return to Italy, on loan, with Roma.

Now whether Chelsea will be improving their squad with the proposed deals remains to be seen as I have to admit to knowing very little about Hysaj.

However, here at Vital Chelsea, we’ll do our utmost to keep abreast of the situation and report back as deemed necessary.
