Chelsea Looking To Make Double Raid On Juventus

|

Speculation appearing in the media and covered by the news source, the Evening Standard, infers that Chelsea are keen to bring, not one, but two Juventus players to the club before the summer transfer window closes.

The first is a striker who we’ve covered in a previous article, Click Here, Gonzalo Higuain, with it now being implied that Chelsea are set to meet with his brother Nicolas, who is his agent, today, to discuss a deal that would see a fee of £53 million involved for the acquisition of the 30-year-old striker.

A three-year-deal is also mentioned, a deal which would see the striker earn a cool £127,000 a week.

Comments left after our previous article Click Here, weren’t too complimentary about a proposed deal for the player.

The second Juventus star our source suggests Chelsea are interested in is the defender Daniele Rugani, although information relating to the details of a proposed deal remain sketchy.

However, here at Vital Chelsea, we’re intrigued to know whether the possible signing of Rugani would be better received than that of Higuain.
