Chelsea Manager Set To Orchestrate His Own Departure Claim

|

Speculation continues to generate column inches, in the mainstream media, relating to the future of the Chelsea manager, Maurizio Sarri.

In fact, the speculation we’ve stumbled upon today suggests that a parting of the ways is coming but that it won’t be Chelsea that force the Italian to leave but the Italian himself opting to try his luck elsewhere.

According to the news source, the Daily Mail, Sarri has agreed on terms to take over at the Serie A title-winning club, Juventus, terms which will see his salary increase by £1.2 million a year.

If that is the case, then the deal could very much suit Chelsea.

If Sarri chooses to leave then Chelsea won’t have to pay any compensation to the Italian and with his backroom team all on contracts that expire at the end of this season, a change in the managerial set-up would be far cheaper than on the numerous previous occasions it has been necessary to do such a thing.
