Chelsea Midfielder Not Playing Ball According To Media Source

|

The suspension of the Premier League, courtesy of the worrying outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, is something that was inevitably going to happen.

Quite when normality will be resumed remains to be seen, it could be weeks or it could be months, such is the uncertainty.

Self-isolation appears to be the phrase that is on everyone’s lips.

With the news having broken last week confirming that Callum Hudson-Odoi had tested positive for the virus, the realisation of how close-to-home the virus was would have hit the Chelsea squad.

However, with that being the case, The Mirror is reporting that our young midfielder, Mason Mount, was photographed having a kickabout in a park with the West Ham United player Declan Rice, when, according to our referenced source, the 21-year-old should have been self-isolating.

Naturally, our referenced source is quick to point out that Mason could face a club fine.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we’re hoping Mason acknowledges his error, accepts the punishment that comes his way and puts this misdemeanour behind him.

It’s hardly the most heinous of crimes, is it?

Or do you beg to differ?
