Chelsea Midfielder Set To Go Dutch Claim

|

Chelsea, at this moment in time, appeared to be blessed with a plethora of midfielders.

With Jorginho suspended and with N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic injured, Frank Lampard turned to Mason Mount, Billy Gilmour and Ross Barkley against Everton.

The combination worked impressively with Chelsea strolling to a 4-0 win.

But, aside from those names I’ve mentioned, another youngster is looking to get in on the act and make his name at Stamford Bridge, with that youngster being Conor Gallagher.

Gallagher is currently on loan at the Championship side, Swansea City, after impressing immensely at Charlton Athletic in the first half of the season.

But with such a plethora of midfielders already in Frank Lampard’s plans, Gallagher may have to bide his time before his chance comes, in fact, he could, according to The Sun be set for yet another season away from Stamford Bridge, on loan.

Our referenced source infers that the Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem, who Chelsea have done loan business with before, are keen to add the player to their books for next season whilst it is also being reported that Burnley are also keen to loan the player.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we believe that Conor would be better served going out on loan and intensify his efforts to secure a place in the Chelsea first-team squad for the 2021 / 2022 season rather than just be a bit-part player, at Chelsea, next season.

But is that a view you concur with?
