Chelsea Midfielder Wants To See Out His Contract At Stamford Bridge


Earlier this week, the inference was being bandied about that suggested Cesc Fabregas could be heading for the Stamford Bridge exit, once the January transfer window opened.

In covering the speculation, Click Here, we covered the scenario whereby Fabregas was wanted by the Serie A club AC Milan and the inference was given by our referenced source, talks had already been opened between the two clubs.

However, this weekend, a different scenario has emerged.

According to the news source, Talksport, the 31-year-old Spaniard has declared that he will be going nowhere in the January transfer window but will remain at Chelsea Football Club until his contract expires in the summer.

But Fabregas does readily admit that he expects offers to be forthcoming in January.

This latest indication would indicate that Fabregas is set to take time in deciding where he goes, in the summer.

However, Chelsea may force the issue knowing that if they can offload Fabregas in the January transfer window then they will receive a fee, something they won’t if he waits for his contract to run down.
