Chelsea, Once The Transfer Ban Is Lifted, Looking To Bolster An Already Exciting Midfield Department At Stamford Bridge

|

As far as the midfield department, in the current Chelsea squad, goes, I’d suggest we have a group of players that could develop to be one of the most effective units in the Premier League.

Blessed with the likes of N’Golo Kante, Jorginho, Mason Mount, Mateo Kovacic, Ross Barkley and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, along with the emerging talent that is Billy Gilmour, you’d think Frank Lampard would be happy with his lot.

Maybe he is, maybe he isn’t!

However, transfer speculation appearing in the media this morning would imply it may be the latter with The Express, inferring that Chelsea have added the Ukrainian midfielder, Ruslan Malinovskyi, to their transfer wish-list once the FIFA enforced two-transfer window ban is finished.

Malinovski is 26-years-of-age and currently on the books of Atalanta, but, and here is the big question, would a deal for the Ukrainian international be something that gets your approval, or would we be better off sticking with what we’ve currently got?
