Prior to this afternoon`s game against United we asked for your opinions as to how you would like to see Chelsea line-up.

With the teams announced, it`s time to take a look at how we did compared to the eleven players Antonio Conte has picked. Despite shortcomings by some, @Chistan, Thibaut Courtois was everyone`s pick. I say everyone`s, I mean me, @Ken4CFC, and @love4blue.

In defence, we agreed that Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen should be a part of the back three. @Ken4CFC preferred Gary Cahill as the third choice, myself and @love4blue going with Antonio Rudiger. A quick interjection by @marloneYaw hoping for anyone but Gary Cahill.

At this point @love4blue complicated matters by naming two formations, it`s a fair point as well, there was no telling which way Conte would go. However what we could all agree on, was the inclusion of N`golo Kante, Marcos AlonsoandVictor Moses in the midfield. That fourth spot always being tricky. For me it was Cesc Fabregas, for @Ken Danny Drinkwater and @love4 going with Drinkwater in a 4-man midfield and Fabregas and DD in a 5-man.

At the attacking end of the field, Eden Hazard and, mark this down, Willian were all given spots in a front three. The in-form Brazilian dropping out of @love4`s 3-5-2.

At the head of the team and leading the line, I went with Alvaro Morata, believing that to be what Conte would do, whereas the other two picked Olivier Giroud. I`d just like to see a striker play.

Breaking @Chistan – The team that played against Barcelona with the exception of Pedro and inclusion of Morata as replacement
