Chelsea Pull Plug On Signing International Striker

|

If anybody is of the belief that Chelsea’s lack of a world-class striker could be set to end with the January transfer window signing of Gonzalo Higuain, they look set to be disappointed.

In the past couple of weeks, speculation, as covered by Vital Chelsea, Click Here, has inferred that the striker, who is on loan at AC Milan, could be sold by his parent club, Juventus.

However, the media vehicle, Goal, is reporting that Chelsea have decided that the 31-year-old Argentine striker is not the man to solve their ongoing problem and will not be making a move for the player, this January.

Here at Vital Chelsea, we’re of the opinion it is probably a sensible decision.

At 31-years-of-age, Higuain is on the wane and is untried in the rough and tumble of the Premier League, surely there are younger alternatives that could be snapped up and give Chelsea a far better return for the outlay.
