Chelsea Put A Price On Willian’s Head

|

They say every player has a price, especially in this modern age when clubs have to operate within the financial restrictions imposed by the Fair Play Regulations.

However, even considering the above you have to ask, when it comes to some players, whether a sale, even at a price, is a good move.

Just recently, speculation has appeared in the media inferring that there is interest in our Brazilian midfielder-cum-winger, Willian.

Today, that speculation has been upped a notch with the inference, as peddled by the news source, mundodeportivo, that Chelsea have put a price on the head of the 29-year-old Brazilian who is on World Cup duty with his country, in Russia.

According to our quoted source, Chelsea wants a cool €80 million for the player.

With both Barcelona and Manchester United said to be interested in the player, it remains to be seen whether either are willing or able, to meet the price Chelsea have put on his head.

Personally, I’d be reluctant to part with a player who continued to shine even when Chelsea were in the midst of a bad spell of form.

But, that’s only my view, if you have a similar view, or even a different one, please feel free to drop your thoughts in the comments facility beneath this article.
