Chelsea Set to Be Erased From the Record Books

Records don’t last forever.

Sooner or later, milestones that are set are inevitably beaten, by another side.

Before the end of the season, Chelsea could see 3 records they currently hold removed from the record books, with all 3 records set to be blitzed by the same club.

• Currently, Chelsea hold the record number of points gained in a Premier League season, with 95 points being the benchmark set in the 2004 / 2005 season. Manchester City need 6 more points from their last 4 games to remove that record from the books.

• Currently, Chelsea lead the way when it comes to the most victories in a Premier League season, with 30 being the benchmark set in the 2016 / 2017 season, Manchester City will remove that record from the record books if they win 2 of their last 4 games.

• Currently, Chelsea lead the way when it comes to the most goals scored in a Premier League season, with the 103 scored in the 2009 / 2010 season being the current benchmark. Manchester City will overhaul that figure if they can score 6 more goals in their last 4 games.

Sad but I’m afraid true!
