Chelsea Set To Lose Out In Race For Bosnian International Midfielder

|

We’re at the time, in the summer transfer window, when speculation varies from day-to-day and moves on at an alarmingly fast rate.

Yesterday, we were happy to report, Click Here, that Chelsea were amongst the front-runners to sign the Juventus midfielder, Miralem Pjanic.

By revisiting the article, Click Here, you’ll see that the idea of signing Pjanic was well received by the Vital Chelsea fraternity.

However, according to the Italian news source, tuttosport, Chelsea’s hopes of securing the services of the 28-year-old Bosnian international could be set to be dealt a huge blow.

Our aforementioned source is championing the suggestion that Manchester City are set to sign the player and are lining up a bid, said to be of the magnitude of £89 million.

If so, I guess we could call it pay-back for the way in which we signed Jorginho who, at one time, looked destined to join Pep Guardiola’s band of merry men.

Possibly a case of some you win and some you lose.

But, if the above scenario does pan out, which of the two – Jorginho or Pjanic – would you rather see in the hallowed blue shirt of Chelsea Football Club?
