With less than two weeks to go before the summer transfer window slams shut, here at Vital Chelsea, we’re expecting the club to bring in a couple of new players.

However, who they may be remains to be seen.

This morning, courtesy of the news source the Daily Mail

a new name has been thrown into the mixer as a potential target, that of the Arsenal and Wales midfielder, Aaron Ramsey.

It would appear that Ramsey has just one-year left on his current contract and Chelsea are ready, if our referenced source has its information correct, to offer Arsenal £30 million for the 27-year-old.

Now, whether it’ll be enough to persuade the Gunners to sell, knowing they could lose the player for nothing at the end of the season, remains to be seen.

But, with Kante and Jorginho set, you would hope, to occupy two of the places available in the centre of the pitch for Chelsea, would the acquisition of Ramsey be something you’d want to see?

Personally, I’ve always liked Ramsey as a player, his skills would, I believe, bring something extra to the squad plus his nationality would also assist us in fulfilling our quota of homegrown players.

But, what are your views on the possible acquisition of Aaron Ramsey, from Arsenal, is it something you’d like to see happen or is it something you’d be against?
