Against Inter Milan, in our recent friendly fixture in the National Stadium, in Singapore, Antonio Candreva looked to be a class act.

Although the Inter Milan winger is now 30-years-of-age, he showed that he had the trickery and guile to cause the Chelsea defence problems.

Ahead of the game, many of the Vital Chelsea support expressed concerns about Chelsea possibly paying a fee around the £20 million mark for somebody who won`t have much of a re-sale value.

However, this morning the popular tabloid publication, the Daily Mirror, has suggested that Chelsea`s interest in the player is very much alive.

Our referenced source is pointing out that Inter Milan are lining up the Lazio winger, Keita Balde, as a replacement for Candreva.

However, Candreva`s skills and possible availability have alerted another Serie A club with it being implied that Juventus are also interested in acquiring his services.

If that is the case it seems it`ll be, providing the transfer fee is agreed, a straight choice for the player between staying in Italy and joining Juventus or moving to London to join up with Antonio Conte who he worked with when Conte was in charge of the Italian national team.
