Chelsea Striker On The Verge Of Sealing A Loan Move Back To La Liga

|

I’d hazard a guess that Alvaro Morata has played, for now, his last game for Chelsea Football Club.

After a disappointing last twelve months, in a Chelsea shirt, the rumour-mill is alive with the inference that Morata is set to make a return to Spanish football.

According to one source, Sky Sports Morata is on the verge of putting pen-to-paper on a loan deal with Atletico Madrid.

The loan deal would see the 26-year-old play for Atletico Madrid until the end of the season with the club then having the option to make the move a permanent one.

However, with Morata costing Chelsea the princely sum of £57 million when he signed for us in the summer of 2017, it remains to be seen how much of that huge fee the club would be able to recoup.

Further credence is given to the probability of the deal going through with our referenced source also reporting that Morata’s family have been in Madrid since Sunday and the player is set to join them imminently.

It remains to be seen whether the Spanish international can regain his confidence and form playing in La Liga but it’d be just our luck if he went on a scoring run that left us baffled as to why he couldn’t do that at Stamford Bridge.

Mind you, if that were the case, then perhaps when it comes to that permanent deal then Chelsea might get more of a fee than we previously anticipated.
