After rediscovering just how prolific he can be when it comes to scoring, albeit in the Championship, numerous column inches have, in the last seventy-two hours, discussed what the immediate future holds for our young striker, Tammy Abraham.

Abraham struggled in the Premier League, last season, with relegated Swansea City but, on a season-long loan deal with Aston Villa, the young striker has already netted 15 times this season.

But, much to the disappointment of Aston Villa supporters, it very much appears as if Abraham’s loan spell, at Villa Park, is set to be cut short.

Reports appearing on the news vehicle, Sky Sports, suggest that Chelsea are set to recall Tammy but with a view to placing him with a Premier League club.

The Premier League club in question being Wolverhampton Wanderers who are looking to bolster their strike-force.

The Midlands-based club had, originally, wanted to sign Abraham on a permanent basis but our referenced source confirms that Chelsea are not willing to engage in such a proposition at this moment in time.

But, is it a move you believe is right for Tammy?

  • As a villa fan for 40+ years for all my sin’s,WHY move the guy when he’s settled in so well.hes most probably our only chance of going up as the rest of our lot couldn’t hit a barn door.if he moves then up to Newcastle NOT 10 miles down the road COME ON tammy

    • Hi John I guess Chelsea want to see if Tammy can cut it in the Premier League after a poor season with Swansea City last time out.

  • IF Tammy joins wolves it won’t be because he don’t care about villa it will be because he has a point to prove not only to wolves but himself that the prem is where he belongs -lets be honest here he far too good for the championship & by joining wolves he not only get managed by one best managers outside top 6 in premiership but if he continues his rich vein of form will not only increase his own stock but also that of being a Chelsea player hence chelsea can get alot more than £18m for the lad should they ever wish sell him on in future -so Chelsea fans watch your player blossom even more at a forward thinking progressive club & villa fans be glad that you helped him find his footing &sharpen his skills
